A New Hope

I guess this could be called a "return" of sorts to blogging for me. Back in 2001 i started writing my LiveJournal, which i kept updated regularly for several years. Over the past year or so it's stayed pretty dormant, with my busy schedule keeping me away from updating about my every move. I've decided it's time to graduate to a post-high school blog. Ta-da!

My goal, at least from the outset, is to keep this a semi-anonymous blog, for lack of a better term. It's not my goal to really disguise who I am, but I'm also not in a rush to let everyone know exactly who I am. I hope that in detaching this blog from my personal life, it's content will be the focus, and not so much the following of my every move. I'm sure nobody is THAT interested in my life, so why force it on people?

As a pharmacy technician for several years, as well as an employee at a local radio station, I've become rather immersed in the community that is northeastern Connecticut. I've got a front seat to a lot of the local goings-on, and some may say a unique perspective.

In a relatively dormant community that provides little opportunity for anyone under the age of 40, it's not every day that a 21 year old's perspective is presented on many local issues.

I think it will be interesting to see where this blog goes over time.

Thanks for reading!
